From Left: John Legend, Consequence and Kanye WestFor our first Throw Back Thursday I dug out a track that mixes the old and new and as usual has a Chi Town focus. Kanye West and Consequence replace Q-Tip and Phiffe Dog in this 2003 remake of the Tribe classic "Electric Relaxation." For those of you that don't know 'Quence is actually Q-Tip's first cousin and began his career by making a bunch of guest appearences at the tender age of 16 on Beats, Rhymes and Life.
