Lloyd Banks Makes Best Diss Track Ever

Yes, you can believe the headline. I am actually claiming that Lloyd Banks Rick Ross diss "Officer Down" > "Ether" by Nas. At first I thought this whole Rick Ross and 50 beef was going to end up with both of them embarrassed when their new albums make record low sales. Was I ever wrong. 50 reminded us why we all originally loved him, that he's a sociopathic hilarious ass motherfucker, on "Tia Told Me." Then to remind all of us why Lloyd Banks continues to be one of the best MCs in the game despite of G-Unit rather than because of them, he murdered Rick Ross over a beat which sounds so monumental that it's only fitting that he spits for 3 min + with no chorus. There's no need. Banks leaves off the track by summing up the one verse which sketches out of the flaws in Rick's career fittingly "50 bodied you, I just laid the chalk down."

I Demand That the Twittering End Now

Pretty much sums up how I feel about this unbelievable phenomena. No one wants to hear your two second synopsis of the banal minutia which occupies your attention 24/7. Stop, now. You need real friends.

Asher Shoot Shells Out the Whip like It's Mario Kart

A waiter called me Sam Rothstein today jokingly in reference to the movie Casino. The first track off Asher Roth's LP also leaked and is posted below. The former has nothing to do with the latter except that the first four letters of my last name are Asher's last name. That makes me as a fanboy happy. Also, this track gives me hope that Asleep in the Bread Isle will have more tracks with the lyrical quality of those on Greenhouse Effect than "I Love College." Not to knock that shit either though, just worried about the fans it might give him pushing his career in the wrong direction *cough* ( Camera pulls back from Macbook Pro screen to reveal Stax typing while wearing the Undercrowned College shirt from music video - Pauses - Stares into camera - Shrugs sheepishly - Camera pulls back, que music "Say it Ain't So riff", fade to black.)

Letter to Lupe Fiasco Re: Japanese Cartoon

Dear Mr. Fiasco,

I'm am one of your many fans in Chicago. I'm writing this in response to your new project Japanese Cartoon. Please stop. I implore you not to let the music industry become one giant race to out hipster Kanye. First 808's and Heartbreak comes out and then all of a sudden Lil Wayne starts whining about high school girls and you start pretending to be a British guy. Look, the last artist who pretended to be British was Madonna so I don't need to say anything more about how this has the potential to ruin your creativity and career. Recycling shitty post punk riffs when you're bored instead of promoting other FNF artists is a selfish use of your time. I'm posting the song only out of respect for your earlier work. Frankly, if the CRS album doesn't blow my fucking mind you're going to be dead to me. We all love you because you're from Chicago, stop acting British.

Resepectfully,

MR

New Cudder Trax + Day n Nite Video

Day 'n' Nite - Kid Cudi from DP on Vimeo.

Two new Kid Cudi tracks to chill out your spring break. Also Kid Cudi explained that the video for Super Boo which was all over the internet this week was fake and he never intended the original leak of that track. Also even though it's been out for a minute I had to embed the video for Day n Nite directed by So Me because its incredible.
