LLoyd Banks Drops Ridiculous Double Disk Birthday Mixtape

I've been jocking Lloyd "banksy" Banks shit a lot lately. He's always been the unquestionable lyrical master of G-Unit since Forevbruary. Let's be honest, his lyrics make 50 look weak-minded by comparison (see disk two "Office Down"). So, its no surprise that for his Birthday Banks decided to give us all a present, this raw two disk mixtape is chock-full of ridiculous spit. Shouts to my boy Dan Engel-Hall.

THE CROTCH GRAB HEARD AROUND THE WORLD

Ben Gordon has officially revealed the man behind the quiet, soft-spoken mask. After hitting a dagger to tie up Game 4 against the Celtics, Gordan showed what he has got and what everybody in Boston used to have: swag. Due to the NBA's constant conflict with the players the bring into the league and the way they want the league to look (for every Shane Battier and Luke Walton there are ten Zach Randolphs), clips of B Gord's true swagger were not replayed during the game's original broadcast. Fuck that. Ben Gordon was doing what any kid from Mt. Vernon, New York would do if they hit an essentially seires tying shot aginst the defending world champs.

Garfield meets Critical Theory

This website takes Garfield out of the Garfield cartoons to reveal Jon's atrociously funny life crisis. That cat may hate Mondays but everyday of Jon's existence is terrible. This is intense schadenfreude.

New Kanye West & Malik Yusef featuring Common & John Legend

This shit is so South Side Chi it should be covered in mild sauce and served with six wings and a mistic. For those of you that don't get the Harold's reference just forget it and download
the track. It's some serious heat. G.O.O.D. music & FNF up!

Kanye West & Malik Yusef - Magic Man featuring Common & John Legend

New Eminem - 3 A.M.

I think I represent all white rap fans when I sign with relief that Eminem's career is going to be okay. That Crack a Bottle & We Made You shit had us all worried for a minute but 3 A.M. is straight fire. The silence of the lambs quote is extra creepy and I love it. Enjoy, Relapse out 5/19

KID CUDI- DAT KID FROM CLEVELAND

Hype can be a dangerous thing. Lofty expectations can either deliver or fall short.
That's where Kid Cudi's new mixtape "Dat Kid From Cleveland" comes in.
His versatility deserves some respect, but then again, I feel there is no place for crossover, pop shit in the great hall of hip-hop. Since Kid Cudi has been forced into the upper realm of hip-hop by the media and hypes-alike, he needs to decide what he's going to do with the responsibility. the future of hip-hop should not be songs like "She Came Along."
The freestyles more than make up for any deficiencies and Consequence might have killed "Buggin Out 2009"

KID CUDI- HIGHER UP

Kid is definitely growing on me.

UKNOWBIGSEAN MIXTAPE

If you've been sleeping on Big Sean, you've been making a huge mistake. Kanye West signed the Detroit native to G.O.O.D. Music after he rapped one hundred bars for him on spot at their first meeting. I first heard Big Sean on the Kanye West/Plain Pat Can't Tell Me Nothing Mixtape. I listened to "Getcha Some" that whole summer but it wasn't until I heard the Finally Famous debute that I realized why Kanye signed him. This kid is to be fucked with. His flow is immaculate and he has a remarkable ability to twist the ends of his lines to match syllabls in his rhymes. His debut album Finally Famous should be out later this year. Keep UKNOWBIGSEAN bumping in your stereo until then.

Cornbread and Matzah presents: G.O.O.D. Friday

There has been alot of noise coming out of the G.O.O.D Music camp in what I like to call the "Post 808s era." So we figured what better way to celebrate good friday than with some G.O.O.D. music featuring Kanye, Cudi, Common, and Many more.

Cornbread and Matzah presents: GOOD Friday

Also join CBM in Connecticut this weekend where CBM Alum Wordsmith will be opening up for none other than Brother Ali!

Happy Easter

Happy Passover

UPDATE: From Kanye's blog this morning:

"SOUTH PARK pt. 3 I WAS AT CHEESECAKE FACTORY YESTERDAY AND THE MANAGER BROUGHT ME A PLATE OF FISH STICKS... (in a sarcastic tone) uuuuuuum, GREAT! : /"

Yeezy is totally fishsticks

Don and I were sure that there was no way Kanye could come back after his merciless tearing on South Park this weeks. Turns out Mr. West agrees. From his blog today:

SOUTH PARK MURDERED ME LAST NIGHT AND IT'S PRETTY FUNNY. IT HURTS MY FEELINGS BUT WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT FROM SOUTH PARK! I ACTUALLY HAVE BEEN WORKING ON MY EGO THOUGH. HAVING THE CRAZY EGO IS PLAYED OUT AT THIS POINT IN MY LIFE AND CAREER. I USE TO USE IT TO BUILD UP MY ESTEEM WHEN NOBODY BELIEVED IN ME. NOW THAT PEOPLE DO BELIEVE AND SUPPORT MY MUSIC AND PRODUCTS THE BEST RESPONSE IS THANK YOU INSTEAD OF "I TOLD YOU SO!!!" IT'S COOL TO TALK SHIT WHEN YOU'RE RAPPING BUT NOT IN REAL LIFE. WHEN YOU MEET LITTLE WAYNE IN PERSON HE'S THE NICEST GUY FOR EXAMPLE. I JUST WANNA BE A DOPER PERSON WHICH STARTS WITH ME NOT ALWAYS TELLING PEOPLE HOW DOPE I THINK I AM. I NEED TO JUST GET PAST MYSELF. DROP THE BRAVADO AND JUST MAKE DOPE PRODUCT. EVERYTHING IS NOT THAT SERIOUS. AS LONG AS PEOPLE THINK I ACT LIKE A BITCH THIS TYPE OF SHIT WILL HAPPEN TO ME. I GOT A LONG ROAD AHEAD OF ME TO MAKE PEOPLE BELIEVE I'M NOT ACTUALLY A HUGE DOUCHE BUT I'M UP FOR THE CHALLENGE. I'M SURE THE WRITERS AT SOUTH PARK ARE REALLY NICE PEOPLE IN REAL LIFE. THANKS FOR TAKING THE TIME TO DRAW MY CREW. THAT WAS PRETTY FUNNY ALSO!! I'M SURE THERE'S GRAMMATICAL ERRORS IN THIS... THAT'S HOW YOU KNOW IT'S ME!
